Kin Khao Reu Yang?<\/strong><\/p>\n

Food plays an integral part in Thai culture and one way this is demonstrated is in the question used in everyday life, \u2018kin khao reu yang?\u2019 The phrase translates as \u2018have you eaten yet?\u2019 It\u2019s a social pleasantry used between friends and acquaintances along the same lines as saying \u2018how are you?\u2019 or \u2018how\u2019s it going?\u2019 A person may respond, \u2018kin laew\u2019 (\u2018eaten already\u2019) or \u2018yang\u2019 (\u2018not yet\u2019).
