Conceived by Santisuk Pakwan (Toffee) and Dominique Rongé with the first branch opening on Ghent’s Donkersteeg in the spring of 2018, Kin Khao is a modern Thai eatery.

Kin Khao – Thai Eatery located in the historical city center and in the main shopping area in Ghent. We aim to present Ghentians and visitors with the new kind of Thai Restaurant, Thailand Street Food, which is the most popular type in Thailand. Thailand Street Food not only represents the real Thai culture but also comes at affordable prices. Our cuisine is contemporary Thai and delicious, using the best fresh local produce, combined with herbs, spices and Asian vegetables. We source only the best from Thailand. We make all our curry pastes, sauces, and relishes in-house daily. We invite you to taste the difference!
Khin Khao offers a flavoursome selection of freshly prepared stir fries, curries, salads and soups. The menu also features Thailand-inspired drinks, as well as a simple yet selective wine list.
Kin Khao – Thai Eatery was awarded the prize of "The Best Thai" Belgium/Luxembourg in 2020 by the jury of the renowned Gault&Millau.
